Welcome to the GPAA
Serving the Northwest side of Chicago, GPAA has 8 leagues for baseball, softball and T-Ball for ages 5-16. This recreational league was created for children to learn the fundamentals of baseball and softball while having fun. Every player plays every game!
Games are played from May through July at Gompers Park, 4222 W. Foster Avenue, Chicago IL 60630 and Eugene Field Park, 5100 N. Ridgeway, Chicago IL 60625. GPAA is not affiliated with the Chicago Park District, but does use its facilities. For registration information, call the GPAA Hotline at 773-725-9334 or email gpaachicago@gmail.com.

In Memory of Cashmere Castillo
Dear Gompers Park Baseball/Softball Families,
By now you have heard about the tragic loss of 8-year-old Cashmere Castillo, who played in the 8-Ball Division of Gompers Park.
We have received numerous inquiries about what might be done to help the Castillo family during this saddest of times.
GPAA, working with the Gompers Park Advisory Council, has placed a drop box at the Gompers Park field house. You are invited to place sympathy cards and/or monetary donations for the Castillo family in the box. Checks should be made out to Wilfredo M. Castillo.
The field house is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. It is closed on Sunday.
